DESCRIPTION:On The Floor® (OTF) has a mission to provide a modern\, family-friendly dance competition that leaves all participants feeling motivated and inspired. By incorporating innovative concepts and exceptional adjudication\, OTF aims to be the leading dance competition in the industry. The founders of OTF\, Mitchell Jackson and Lisa Hupé\, shared a dream of creating a one-of-a-kind dance competition\, and worked tirelessly to make it a reality. \nSince its inception in 2012\, Mitchell and Lisa have been committed to making OTF an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for all participants. Drawing on their extensive dance backgrounds\, they aimed to create a competition that would offer dancers the opportunity to win scholarships to prestigious dance institutions\, while also learning from and connecting with industry professionals. To establish Canada’s premier dance competition\, it was essential to assemble the perfect team. Mitchell and Lisa have brought on board a prestigious faculty consisting of the industry’s top professionals\, providing outstanding opportunities for OTF competitors.
