Each performance represents a moment in time where there are factors that are within and outside of the performer’s control. For example\, a performer cannot control who they are competing against or how hard that person has worked. Sometimes\, the competition may have a better execution\, but that does not diminish the bravery and effort that the performer put into their own performance. At Inspire\, we reward excellence\, but we also value every performer’s courage and hard work.

The two Co-Directors\, Julie Gabriele and Christina Morgani\, have been involved in the dance industry since childhood. They founded Be Dance as a means of giving back to the dance community and motivating young dancers in a constructive and competitive setting. DESCRIPTION:Strive Dance Challenge originated in 2003 as a way to contribute to the dance community by incorporating the best practices learned through years of experience at competitions. It began with two successful events in 2004 and has since expanded to include School and University Dance in its yearly locations. Strive Dance Challenge values customer satisfaction and has a high rate of returning studios and schools\, achieving this by taking into account the feedback received and making necessary improvements to provide a fair and efficient competition in a positive atmosphere. The competition is designed with the competitors\, parents\, teachers\, and studio directors in mind\, and this remains the core principle behind every event. Strive Dance Challenge remains small and runs fewer venues than most competitions to ensure that each event is tailored to the participants’ needs and nothing is left unattended.

DESCRIPTION:Having raised two children in the competitive dance scene for over 20 years\, we were inspired to offer child dancers a more positive experience than what we had encountered. Our events are infused with genuine care and encouragement\, and we apply this philosophy to every aspect of our organization. Now in our 18th season\, we continue to strive for improvement and innovation. One of our clients recently reminded us that we have achieved the perfect balance between competition and family fun\, making it an incredible weekend for everyone. \nOur primary objective is to give child performers the recognition they deserve\, and for the memories of Kick It Up to last a lifetime. As well as providing entertainment for the entire family.
